Counselling for improved
mental health & wellbeing
Counselling
I provide counselling support for issues that are affecting your life. I encourage you to seek support early and I warmly welcome people from all walks of life and experiences.
My guiding principle is to work in partnership with you to achieve improved mental health and wellbeing in your everyday life.
I take a client-centred approach that allows me to personalise each counselling session towards your unique and specific needs.
To assist you in achieving your desired outcome I use evidence-based therapeutic modalities that are clinically demonstrated to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Importantly, my approach to counselling aims to support you in developing skills and solutions for self-empowerment regarding the issues you are experiencing.
My office is accessibly located in central Wellington, close to public transport and car parking.
Getting started
Seeking counselling and finding the right counsellor can be difficult. The first appointment is often an introduction to counselling that allows us to get to know each other better.
During the first appointment I will clarify your circumstances and goals for counselling. We will develop an agreement on a regular time to meet and the ways we may work together to approach the issues you are experiencing.
To express your interest in counselling with me, please complete the Let’s Work Together form below. I will be in contact with you to schedule a time to talk over the phone and to book your first appointment.
Appointments are scheduled for 50 minutes.
